First, apologies for not giving love to this thread in some time! Let's get back into it, and please, remember our rules on the first page!
I need a theory on Ghirahim.
How was he created? The same way Fi was? Was it that when Fi was created an equal must be made to oppose Fi? He is a blade that somewhat resembles the master sword but in a red glow all black and stuff. Ghirahim has a Triforce etched into him aswell. What is Ghirahim?
This is only a personal theory here. We know that Ghirahim is a Sword Spirit, a being that exists within a sword, or is a sword itself. My theory is Demise created Ghirahim at the time he was last in power (Before Hylia sealing him). Ghirahim was merely a weapon crafted by Demise to be a very dark force. He created it so that in peril, his weapon could live on in his stead and hopefully save him.
As to reasoning why the blade has a Triforce on it is obvious. Demise wanted this power, he knew it existed, and knew if he had it, that not even Hylia could stop him. Luckily, Hylia was able to seal him before he got his hands on the Triforce. The symbol is merely his way of showing desire for it. Of course, Demise's blade was created BEFORE the Master Sword! This means as Link ventures in Skyward Sword, bathing the sword in the flames of Din, Nayru and Farore, the goddesses create the sword in a way to be the "Light Version" of Demise's weapon. Not the other way around! Strange how time works!
That is merely theory of course, with some sprinkled fact.
What are your thoughts on the origin of Dark Link? Where did he come from and what purpose does he serve? Is he the same Dark Link throughout the series or different ones in each game he appears? And who would win in a fight between Dark Link and Ganon? ^_^
We do not know any backstory canonically about Dark Link. It is my theory Dark Link is creation of the Goddesses as a test for Link to see if he is worthy to continue in his adventure. Within the realm of Ocarina of Time, he presents himself at a moment where Link is about to head to very deep spiritual and frightening places, the Shadow and Spirit Temples. It is my theory the goddesses test him then to see if he can conquer himself, then he can conquer the fears within those places.
In The Adventure of Link, Dark Link presents himself before he can claim the Triforce of Courage. We can simply see this as the goddesses' way of testing to see if he truly is the hero.
However, Shadow Link is different, he is not Dark Link. Shadow Link is a creation of the Dark Mirror, that was stolen by Ganon and used to continually plague Link with dopplegangers. This is very dark magic from a Dark Tribe. Whether that Dark Tribe is the same from Majora's/TP is a story for another day.
Oh, and Ganon wins. Triforce > Any Magic
Do you think the Happy Mask Salesman is somehow connected to the Ancient Tribe, or somehow is behind the terrors of Termina which the mask made?
As answered above, no, I do not think so. He is merely an eccentric traveler who comes upon an interesting artifact.
I don't know if this been ask but why dose FSA follow TP since it make no sense.
It couldn't fit within the Adult Timeline, with Hyrule being underwater and all. It makes sense to me in that a long time passes following Twilight Princess. There is nothing to oppose it, as there is nothing to support it, as the Ganon we see in that game is a new/reborn Ganon.
Also in a link oracle game tiwnrova is alive even though she suppose to be dead, unless ganon brought them back to lift they suppose to be dead.
Twinrova is alive, isn't she? How strange! Let's assume Ganon did revive them, as if I had Triforce power all to myself, I would probably bring my mothers back from the dead too. Plus: Backup plan!
I like to ask something related to this, why is the pearl require to keep your form in the dark world?
The Dark World is a place of monsters, and Link himself turned into a monster of sorts, so he needed some sort of protection, and a pearl of Sacred Power seems to do the trick!
also why is valfor the leader of the bird people in WW? if they evolve from zora wouldn't that whale be there god?
Let us think of it like your dad's best friend. Jabu-Jabu was your dad (The Zora)'s best friend, but you (The Rito) really aren't friends with Jabu-Jabu's child (Jabun). Make sense, Jabun is probably respected by the Rito, but Valoo was created by the Goddesses' to protect the Zora people and help them to become the Rito.
That was messy, tell me if I need to explain better.
question it said that the descent of the seven sages are all female hryulians but in OoT three of the seven sages are different races so during the decine timeline did three of the seven sages die and new ones took their place or something?
Many years occur between games, we can assume new generations are different. Sages are chosen by fate, not by blood.
I Probably allready knew this , but what happened to the minish? were they forgotten while time went on , or does that castle door still open every 100 years for someone to go inside?
A story lost over the ages we can assume. Don't worry, they all drowned in The Wind Waker.
My question is, what would ever happen to Ganondorf in the defeat of the hero era? Is he technically sealed away forever or is there a possibility of his return? Does this mean that there will be another game after Adventure of Link if Ganondorf was to return?
You seem to be a bit confused here... Ganondorf is the born Gerudo man, and through the curse of Demise, seeks the Triforce to rule the land of Hyrule. The power that he finds allows him to transform into the Dark Beast Ganon. They are one and the same. In the Defeated Timeline, the supreme power of the full Triforce transforms Ganondorf into Ganon permanently, which holds true throughout that timeline. Ganondorf is still in there somewhere, but is technically dead following The Legend of Zelda.
Hey MC what's your theory on the similarities on major as mask and the dark mask thing from the twilights (sorry forgot the name) and what do you think on the relationships between them?
Answered this earlier in the thread, my theory is as follows:
In addition, while there is a lot of theories concerning the Fused Shadow and Majora's Mask being related, we have little to go on except for some small design similarities. I do agree with these ideas, that long ago, the tribe of "Dark Interlopers" who entered the Sacred Realm created the Fused Shadows (This we know as fact) to give them supreme power. Of course the Golden Goddesses created the Light Spirits (With the possible contination/spirits of the dragons from Skyward Sword) to combat it. In addition, the theory that I support states this same tribe created Majora's Mask as a torture device. It however was lost until the Happy Mask Salesman found it. It is possible the tribe started in Termina, created Majora's Mask, lived in Ikana (In game knowledge discuss that Ikana held a tribe with a history of darkness and drenched in blood.) then later traveled to Hyrule when hearing about the Triforce. They later were banished to the Twilight Realm and become the Twili.
how does ganon got the triforce of power in the child time line if the door of time was never opened and ganon never traveld through time. or is this simply a case of Nintendo logic. and where do the CD-i games fit into every thing.
Very good question. Very good. The Triforce always has destined bearers "chosen". In the Child Timeline, Link was to seal the Master Sword forever behind the Door of Time, and while he did do that, over time the Temple of Time fell apart to what we see in Twilight Princess. However, Ganondorf, received much power from the malice of the Twili. Being so close to the Mirror of Twilight, they felt compassion for Ganondorf, seeing them in him, it was in that moment the great power hit Ganondorf, and the Goddesses' seeing this supreme power released the Triforce from its bonds beneath the Master Sword. This is described as the "Divine Prank". There is more to this, but I will have to talk about it another time.
Simple answer: Seeing Ganondorf's power, the Goddesses' gave the Triforce of Power to him.
also if the zoras evolved into the rito could jabu-jabu have evolved in valoo. (sorry for bad spelling)
Just to be sure, Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule AND the King of the Red Lions is the same person right?? (or is that a misconceived assumption)
Yes. My theory is that the King was approached by the Goddesses before they flooded Hyrule and was told of the coming flood. The King had the best magicians in the land create the King of Red Lions boat as a vessel for him to speak through.
If so, why does DNH drown at the end of Wind Waker but Link sails him after the fact.
The Boat was merely a vessel for the King to talk through, without the King, the Boat becomes an empty vessel.
Regardless of whether they are the same, what happened to the KotRL going into Phantom Hourglass? Did Link just get really lazy? (He did sleep on the Pirate Boat a lot.)
Nintendo is mean. ;_;
